Taking a post back

Anything an agent publishes, you can take back from the Activity page in the dashboard. Every published post carries two controls: Unpublish, and Restore an earlier version.

Unpublish

The post comes off your site straight away and the content is kept as a draft in WordPress. Nothing is overwritten and nothing is permanently deleted — you can republish it from your own editor whenever you like. There is deliberately no permanent-delete option anywhere in Pressbotics.

Restore an earlier version

This lists the versions WordPress has saved for the post, with their dates. Restoring one writes that older content back as a NEW edit. It does not rewind history: every version, including the one you just replaced, stays in your WordPress revision list.

If WordPress cannot confirm the change, Pressbotics reports the failure and leaves your record showing the post as still published — we never mark something undone that WordPress did not actually undo.

The automatic case

Separately from this, a post that publishes but fails its render check is reverted to a draft automatically, and the action records render_check as fail with the reason.
